I received a nice email from the editor of Alba, that said he "enjoyed reading" my poems, but wouldn't be able to publish any of them. He also mentioned I should "try again in the future."
I might just do that.
I'm not too wounded by it, however a cupcake could make me feel better.

Please, please don't be. It's only one perspective and opinion. You and your work are greater than the sum total of any and all rejection you receive. Your poems are of great value to many, others will find you and the value in your poems.
Have 2 cup cakes. Leave some frosting on your lips for a while to remind you that you and your poetry have value.

I decided against the cupcake though. Mostly because Boolicious brought me home a Hershey bar.
It will happen in due season.
