I had a good time at the writer's group today. It was a small gathering of five women, including myself. The rain almost detered me from going out of the house, but I made the right choice to be fearless and drive to the meet up. I hate driving. I hate driving in inclement weather even more, but driving with bad weather to an unknown destination is even worse.
We shared book ideas we are working on and our struggles with completing our projects. One of the women is almost done with her memoir, and it sounded like the type of story that Oprah would probably enjoy.
